FAQs
What makes you different?
Lots of things. Here are five:
- We are world-class listeners.
- We seamlessly integrate insights, strategy and creative expression. Lots of firms talk about this. We do it.
- The two BigMouth partners work directly with you. There’s no bait-and-switch or hand-off to juniors.
- Our work has the depth and sophistication to transform your organization from the inside out and drive massive growth.
- We put a huge amount of emphasis on igniting your management, employee and client cultures.
What are your biggest “value-adds”?
Good question. Here are a few:
- We see the incredible upside potential in your business that it’s very hard for you to see for yourself.
- We create an intoxicating level of clarity and focused energy within your business.
- We help you navigate a complex new world where AI search and answer engines wield immense influence over your business.
- We have very strong strategic and creative judgement, rooted in more than three decades of high-stakes decision-making.
What is your “philosophy”?
You’re way cooler and more original than you realize. The biggest risk you run is being invisible. You need to transcend marketing BS and connect with people on a human level. Your story and brand should generate word of mouth and viral spread through their sheer excellence. We were thinking like this long before there was social media.
How long have you been doing this stuff?
Todd and I started our careers at places like BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and Edelman. In the early 1990s we joined up as a freelance team. We quickly found out we had something special, evidenced by the massive amount of money we were making for our clients. The rest is BigMouth.
What do your services cost?
How much do you have? 😉 Seriously, we can build you a strategically bodacious brand infrastructure for $75K, then leverage the infrastructure with campaigns and ongoing support starting at $12K a month. We can also go a hell of a lot deeper.
Who are the BigMouth partners?
Todd Spina is an BBDO vet, Darwin Cooke fan and cycling junkie. Mike Yoffie is a an Ogilvy & Mather alum, Stanford man and B3 organ player.
Since 1994, our successes have been documented in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the Tokyo Asahi Shimbun, the Prague Business Journal and the San Francisco Chronicle. They’ve been featured on CNN and MSNBC Asia, too. And yet we remain humble.
How do I harness the power of AI in my marketing?
Left to its own devices, AI-enabled search can bury you or distort your brand story in subtle yet damaging ways. Handled intelligently, it can elevate your profile dramatically and attract a steady stream of qualified customers.
Do you specialize in particular categories of client?
Not really. We’ve generated huge ROI for clients in categories where we had zero experience. On the other hand, we are very deep in working with technology, wealth management, professional services, non-profit, child development and media clients.
Who makes a great BigMouth client?
Someone who appreciates how original, soulful communication can drive gargantuan business growth. Who isn’t afraid to make decisions. And who is committed to on-going investment in order to sustain on-going success.
